Terms of Service — MyCredentialWallet

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using MyCredentialWallet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years of age and a licensed or credentialed healthcare professional (or in the process of obtaining credentials) to use the Service. Your continued use following any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Description of Service

MyCredentialWallet is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows healthcare professionals—including Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other providers—to securely store, track, and manage professional credentials, licenses, certifications, continuing education records, malpractice insurance, DEA registrations, facility affiliations, and payer enrollments. The Service also includes AI-powered document parsing to extract data from uploaded documents, expiration tracking and reminders, and tools for sharing credential packets with employers and facilities.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep your information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Each person may maintain only one account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

The Service is intended for managing your own legitimate professional credentials. You agree not to: upload fraudulent, falsified, or forged documents; share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or any part of the Service's systems; use automated tools to scrape, collect, or extract data from the Service; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

5. AI Document Parsing

The Service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude API) to parse and extract information from uploaded documents. AI extraction is provided as a convenience and may contain errors. Users are responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of all AI-extracted data before relying on it. MyCredentialWallet does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-parsed information.

6. Data and Content

You retain full ownership of all documents, data, and other content that you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant MyCredentialWallet a limited license to process, store, and display your content back to you for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. We are not responsible for verifying the accuracy, validity, or authenticity of any uploaded documents.

7. Credential Tracking Disclaimer

MyCredentialWallet is a tracking and organizational tool. It is NOT a substitute for verifying compliance with your state board, certifying body, or employer requirements. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their credentials are current and compliant with all applicable regulations. The information provided through the Service, including continuing education requirements, practice authority data, and renewal deadlines, is for reference purposes only. MyCredentialWallet is not liable for any lapsed credentials, missed deadlines, or regulatory consequences arising from reliance on the Service.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.

9. Pricing and Payments

The Service is currently offered free of charge during the beta/early access period. We reserve the right to introduce paid subscription plans in the future, with advance notice to existing users. Existing features available during the free period may become part of a paid plan.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. You may terminate your account by contacting us. Upon termination, users may request export of their data. We will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your data before account deletion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCredentialWallet and My Credential Wallet LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of professional credentials, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $0 if using the free tier).

12. Data Storage and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and uploaded documents. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Changes will be effective when posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
